Jayfkay to remain unbeaten
RAZLDAZL JAYFKAY can maintain his 100 percent record in the first William Hill Derby semi-final at Wimbledon on Saturday.
He is again drawn six and, in a heat worthy of the final, the wide seed should carry on his merry winning ways.
Every contender has pace to burn to the bend and so much depends on the break … it is going to be absolutely crucial.
It’s Dolores at the double in quarters
RAZLDAZL RIOGA and Razldazl Bugatti gave Dolores Ruth a flying 1-3 start in the Quarter-finals at Wimbledon on Tuesday night.
Bugatti was soon a length clear of his brother, with Charlie Lister OBE’s champion Taylors Sky also going up fast.
Surprisingly, Rioga went to the front at the third bend and then drew away to beat Taylors a couple of lengths in 28.48
Maestro to win the Spartan battle
SPARTA MAESTRO can reverse semi-final form with Droopys Cain to land the final of the Larry Dunne Open 525 at Shelbourne Park on Saturday.
Puppy Derby winner Sparta Maestro was right up with the pace last week only to take a bump from the back.
Droopys Cain came flying through to beat the selection by three and a half lengths in a flying 28.19.
With Droopys Cain surrounded by a few useful early-paced runners, it may pay to side with Sparta Maestro, who looks well placed on the outer.
Snowy, Ned to ring up double
MARTIN NEA can have a Ringtown double in the third round of the Red Mills Champion Unraced Stake over 525 yards at Kilkenny tonight (Friday).
His Ringtown Snowy is fancied to land the opening heat.
Last week the son of Head Bound caught the eye when picking up the re-opposing Helens Champ to score by a length in 29.18 and he can again prove too strong.
Lightning can strike at Tralee
SOVIET LIGHTNING is given a narrow vote to land the final of the 2012 Lee Strand Stake over 550 yards at Tralee on Saturday.
Eamonn Cronin’s runner is unbeaten in his four races during this stake and is easily the youngest in the decider.
The son of Droopys Vieri is consistently a fast starter and has broken the 30-second barrier in his last three races and is fancied to get first run on the opposition from what should be an ideal draw in five.
